Exopack Holding Corp. is pleased to announce the promotion of Paul Kearns to the position of Vice- President, Corporate Strategy Development. In his role, Paul will be responsible for ensuring that Exopack’s corporate strategy is based on a sustainable business model with a balanced approach toward meeting its economic, social and environmental obligations. He will also implement the measurement and validation procedures necessary to allow Exopack’s management team the ability to track the progress of their assigned businesses.
Paul has been with Exopack since 1998, most recently in the role of Director of Sales & Technology – Paper Business. He has held various positions in sales management and marketing with Exopack and its predecessor, Union Camp. Before joining Exopack, Paul was with International Paper in technical sales and procurement roles. Paul is a U.S. Navy veteran and has earned a MBA from the University of New Haven and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. In his new role Paul will report directly to Jack Knott, Chairman & CEO of Exopack. He will continue to work from the corporate offices in Spartanburg, SC.
