Exopack RAVE™ Family of Bags

Exopack has risen to these challenges with their RAVE™ line of premade bags. These robust bags can be printed with up to 10 colors for appealing consumer graphics. A variety of substrate choices delivers a wide range of product attributes. This, in conjunction with before- and after-market support delivers packaging that is easy to use.

RAVE-CMP comprises a hybrid construction that highlights synergies between paper and plastic substrates. Similar to other RAVE products, RAVE-CMP can provide engaging graphics using up to 10 colors.
The RAVE-CMP bags provide a package that is stronger than the conventional RAVE-MW. It is available in a pinch, Sewn-Open-Mouth (SOM) or heat-seal style bag. It is also available with a top-slider zipper (RAVE-CMP: SZ). For technical info on RAVE-CMP, click here.

| RAVE-PL |

RAVE-PL bags provide customers with an 'all-plastic' (PL) option for large-format, side- gusseted bags. Exopack is uniquely capable of printing wide-web, long-repeat graphics in up to 10 colors flexographically and eight colors with rotogravure.
These bags can be produced in either an edge-seam style (one bag edge sealed top to bottom) or all four gusset edges sealed for a 'quad seal' appearance. The bags are heat sealed with many feature options available. One of the more popular consumer features is the top-slider version (RAVE-PL: SZ).
As with RAVE-MW, the plastic version can be produced with a wide range of substrates and gauges depending on the product requirements. (RAVE-PL: 1000, RAVE-PL: 2000, RAVE-PL: 5000, etc.)

RAVE-MW represents our more traditional multi-wall (MW) pinch-style bags. This Exopack product sets the standard for the industry and can be designed for a variety of barrier requirements. For example: for less stringent needs, the 1000 series (RAVE-MW: 1000) uses a plastic liner designed for low-to-medium-fat products. The 2000 series has a construction designed for high- or aggressive-fat-content products.
These bags can be printed with up to eight colors both flexographically or rotogravure, and coated with UV- or EB-cured lacquers for a special visual effect.
For the convenience-driven customer, the added feature of a top-slider zipper is also available. (RAVE-MW: SZ)

When strength is the primary goal, RAVE-WPP is a top pick. Available with a woven polypropylene core, this style of bag is traditionally found in a Sewn-Open-Mouth (SOM) format and can have either paper or OPP as the outer print ply. The strength characteristics of this product lend themselves to the largest formats (>40 lbs.).
In addition, Exopack (through its Global Packaging Linx service organization), can provide customers with a fully commercial, rotogravure-printed package that meets or exceeds all FDA requirements for food contact packaging.
